SUNWAY PUTRA HOTEL KUALA LUMPUR, Kuala Lumpur – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel is located right above the Sunway Putra Mall, offering easy shopping and dining options. The room lacked some basic amenities like a switched-on fridge, causing inconvenience, but the location was excellent for accessing nearby attractions and public transport.

The hotel is perfectly located near the Petronas Towers, offering very clean and nicely scented rooms, but unfortunately, my stay was disrupted by bed bugs bites on my arm. The pricing was reasonable.

The hotel's location is awesome, with easy access to nearby attractions and a variety of dining options. The rooms, while decent, don't quite live up to the advertised 5-star standard. The service was exceptional, especially with staff members like Shervin being particularly friendly and helpful. The dining experience offers a wide array of delicious food options, but there are some inconsistencies. Overall, a good value for the price paid.

The hotel is really comfortable but had a damp smell throughout our stay, earning it a 4-star rating. The additional access doors to the hotel corridor made the room noisy, which was a downside.

Although the rooms were a bit dusty and not the cleanest, they were of a decent size and had a small window. However, the hotel kindly upgraded my room to a junior suite upon request, which had a bathtub and balcony. The staff was incredibly accommodating and even provided helpful tips on where to get a specific adaptor. The location on top of a mall was superb for both business and tourism, with easy access to an LRT station. The dining options were fantastic with a wide variety to choose from. The facilities, including the pool, were well-maintained, but there were some overcrowding issues during peak hours.

The hotel offers spacious Executive rooms with a connected hall and dining table, but a persistent damp smell slightly affects the experience, leading me to rate it 4 stars. The bathroom and basin were well-maintained. Despite the small size of the room, it was comfortable overall.

The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with spacious accommodation and a good sahur meal. The staff are warm and well-trained, but some furniture needs attention. The location is fantastic with easy access to the Sunway Putra Mall, although construction issues impact the bathroom. The dining options are varied and excellent, but service can be slow during crowded times.

I chose to stay at Sunway Putra for its prime location above the Putra Mall and close proximity to the World Trade Centre and Putra Train station. The views from the room were magnificent, but the absence of slippers was a drawback. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, making for a pleasant stay overall.

The hotel offers superb room quality despite being near train services. However, the rooms are dark and old, lacking standard comforts. The service is exceptional, with staff like Ms. Ersya, Ms. Syukriah, and Mr Asyraaf providing excellent support. The location is unbeatable, connected directly to a mall with convenient access to public transport. The dining experience is impressive, with a wide variety of food choices. Facilities are top-notch.

The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. While the rooms didn't meet the standard of a 5-star hotel and were quite dark, the included buffet dinner and breakfast in the Club Lounge on the top floor offered excellent views over the city with fantastic service and food. However, there was an issue with the toilet flushing, affecting the overall room experience.
